If you would like to follow this route the South West Coast Path is clearly marked with the exception of one or two un-signposted turnings, most of which are mentioned on the Sound Walk, but carrying a map is very much recommended.

Dom and Ben make one detour from the coast path at Porthallow, where a public footpath climbs steeply from the beach, leaving from behind a bush at the southern end, and close to a series of fishing sheds. The footpath is clearly marked on OS mapping. It exits into a field which can be crossed to a gate in the far, top right corner. The gate leads onto a lane which winds its way past an MoD radar station before rejoining the coast path on the road between Porthallow and Porthoustock.
