Design and code your own digital skyscapes of millions of stars and use real space data to explore techniques– such as match filtering – that are employed by astronomers to identify new stars and find objects in space.
Celebrating this year’s Big Data event Tariq Rashid, author, technologist and code-club organiser, will be running free Space Adventures Code Labs at CAST.
Alongside the code labs, a creative data gathering craft workshop, including a summer-long cumulative data wall, will create an evolving picture of who we are and what makes us tick.
