Lucy Grant and Vicky Wiltshire are working with the Museum of Cornish Life to create a lantern procession for St Piran’s Day. Join them in a studio at CAST during the half-term week to learn new skills and create the willow lanterns that will illuminate the streets of Helston on Saturday 5 March.

The workshops are free and open to all, but we encourage you to book a ticket in advance to allow us to manage the number of visitors. It is also fine to drop-in on the day and join in when there is space.

The sessions will take place on the first floor of CAST and will be sign posted from both entrances of the building.

The project is supported by the Welcome Back Fund, funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The Welcome Back Fund supports the safe return to high streets and helps build back better from the pandemic. The specialist training Lucy and Vicky received to help them develop the project was supported by Cultivator Cornwall through their Individual Skills Development award, funded by the European Social Fund.

Tuesday 22 February 2022 – Saturday 26 February 2022 10am - 4pm Sessions will continue until 8pm on Thursday 24 and Friday 25.
