HÍBRIDOS is a filmic archive of musical rituals from the spiritual traditions in Brazil. This selection of short films has been chosen by artist Delfina Muñoz de Toro and curator Gina Buenfeld to coincide with the opening of Gäa: Holistic Science and Wisdom Tradition, an exhibition at The Exchange gallery in Penzance from 16 February to 18 May.
The exhibition explores the traditional ecological knowledge that survives in indigenous cultures and re-imagines the earth as a living organism, with all forms of life entangled in a fabric of relations. Delfina Muñoz de Toro gave a concert at CAST on Wednesday 13 February.
