Printmaking Workshop
Printmaking Workshop

CAST offers a free half-term printmaking workshop led by Catherine Haines and Sally Cole.

Catherine studied Printmaking at the Royal College of Art in London. Sally Cole has a studio in the CAST building and her prints and posters are well known throughout the county.

There will be two three-hour sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The minimum age for participants is eight and under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. No previous experience is needed and absolute beginners are welcome. Book early as places are likely to fill up fast.

Catherine Haines is an experienced teacher and workshop leader and her workshops involve drypoint, drawing, mono printing, leaf printing, hand tinting and relief. The focus is on experimentation and play. Participants will be able to take work home. Participants should wear old clothes or bring an apron. All materials will be provided. The workshop is free, but donations towards the cost of materials will be greatly appreciated.

CAST’s pop up Café will be open from 11am to 3pm, offering coffee and cakes and delicious Saturday brunch.
