A six-week practical course on how to make beautiful and functional pots for food and drink. The sessions aim to encourage insight into one’s own creative expression in a relaxed and mindful environment. Combining group learning and one-on-one guidance, the course is designed to be suitable for any skill level from beginner to expert.

Hannah’s teaching methods for pinching pots are totally original and cannot be found in textbooks or on the internet. Born in Cornwall, she began working in pinch pottery thirteen years ago. Initially self taught, she pioneered a sophisticated pinch pottery movement in Melbourne, Australia, before travelling to Shikoku, Japan to studying the art of wood firing. Hannah returned to Cornwall in 2013 to set up folklore, a small shop in Falmouth selling beautifully made local crafts.

Glazing and firing is not included; firing costs from £5 per pot.
