This collaborative drawing workshop is part of Gemma Anderson’s ongoing project the Cornwall Morphology and Drawing Centre. A collaboration with mathematician Professor Alessio Corti (Imperial College London), it approaches the following questions through drawing practice:

– What is the fourth dimensional space?

– How can the fourth dimensional space exist when reality is three-dimensional?

– Can 4D space be represented in a three-dimensional reality?

– And in a two-dimensional reality… can it be drawn?

Materials will be provided, but please bring paper and pencils if possible. Previous drawing experience is helpful but not essential. CAST Café will offer a simple and delicious lunch.

Workshop 11am to 4pm. £15, concessions £10. Minimum age, 16. Booking essential, email [email protected]
