This will be a bonanza CAST-Off Round-Off and the weather forecast is good.

Georgia Gendall will be making flags at Ben’s Den near the Lowertown stepping stones, Tim and Seb Pryke will run boat-building and boat-racing sessions in the Penrose Amenity Area near the boating lake and the Fairground Car Park, and there will be LOTS going on in the Walled Garden at Penrose.

Painter Nina Royle will be sharing some of the many different ways to make paint from earth pigments and botanical ink from a range of seasonal roots, bulbs, barks, berries, beans and husks. Bayer Benzing will lead wild-weaving sessions. Stephane Rouget will be demonstrating how to square off and dress a block of rough granite using traditional tools.
And Lucy Grant will be there to encourage a bonanza session of drawing, mapping and making, so children can fill their sketchbooks and claim their CAST-Off prizes.

The CAST-Off programme is presented with the generous support of The Garcia Family Foundation, with assistance from Arts Council England, Cornwall Heritage Trust, Feast and Little Parc Owles Trust.
