OPENING TIMES

CAST is open to the public for family workshops, and for evening talks, film screenings and special events. Find out more about the CAST programme on Events pages, which provide dates and times to visit.

CAST Café is open five days a week:
Tuesday – Saturday | 10am – 5pm

NEW GUIDELINES

We are delighted to be able to welcome visitors back to the building and have made adjustments that we hope will help everyone to feel safe and comfortable.

There are toilets for hand washing and dispensers for hand sanitiser. In line with government guidelines, we ask you wear a face covering whilst in the building. ‘Track and Trace’ measures are being implemented, paper forms are available in the black box screening space for those who do not use the NHS app.

Seating in our black box screening space will be laid out to support social distancing as appropriate for each screening or event. In order to manage numbers for our popular evening events, booking through the Café is currently mandatory. It is not necessary to book to visit the screening space during daytime opening hours, Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.

From 18 May the Café will resume indoor service, and the newly improved terraced area to the side of the building also offers sheltered outdoor seating.

ACCESSIBILITY

The ground floor of the CAST building has wheelchair access and accessible toilet facilities. For visitors with limited mobility, CAST can usually make arrangements for parking at the front of the building, where there is wheelchair access.

Please email CAST if you have any questions or specific requirements for your visit: [email protected]

PARKING

The rear entrance to the building can be reached by steps from Wendron Street car park and there are Cornwall Council car parks within a short walk.

CAST LIFT SHARE

CAST Lift Share aims to enable lift shares, especially for those who don’t have their own cars, so that they are able to come to evening events when public transport is limited.
