We are delighted to announce that CAST has been awarded a Project Grant from Arts Council England to support our public programmes, particularly a series of activities and initiatives for artists and young people, over the next seven months.
The funding will support the next Cornwall Workshop, an intensive working retreat for artists, which will be led by Turner Prize winner Elizabeth Price. It also supports the next two terms of our Saturday club for young people aged 12-16, and will provide small pots of funding for activity initiated by local young people, the first example of which is a dance initiative by dancer and choreographer Sapphire Sumpter, who graduated from Rambert School last summer.
Further activities and programming will be announced over the course of spring 2022.
