An evening of artists’ films and animations organised as part of Jubilee Pool Stories.

This screening presents moving image works by artists from the South West, and across the UK, selected via an open call for work related to surface tensions and liquid properties, and presented with films selected from the LUX artists’ moving image collection. The evening will also premiere new animations made by BA Animation students from Falmouth University as part of Jubilee Pool Stories, an arts and heritage project celebrating and building a lasting cultural archive for Penzance’s much-loved lido.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Ben Cook, Director of LUX.

The Jubilee Pool Stories project is created and produced by Lou Brett and Barbara Santi of awen productions CIC and Dr Jane Bailey in partnership with Jubilee Pool Penzance Ltd.
